What does Price Monitor do?

It delivers real-time alerts when offers change on the ASINs in your own catalog. Instead of polling Amazon every few minutes, the app uses Amazon’s push notifications (ANY_OFFER_CHANGED) to surface price moves on your listings within seconds, so you can react before you lose the Buy Box.

How do I sign up and authorize the app?

Click “Get Started” from any page on this site, or visit the app’s listing in the Amazon Selling Partner Appstore and click “Authorize Now.” You’ll be redirected to Seller Central to grant the required SP-API permissions. Setup takes about 60 seconds.

How fast are the alerts?

Most alerts arrive within 5 to 30 seconds of the underlying offer change. We rely on Amazon’s push-based ANY_OFFER_CHANGED stream, which is significantly faster than the polling intervals used by traditional repricing tools.

What data does the app access?

The app reads pricing context for your own ASINs (current offers, Buy Box status, condition breakdown, sales rank) and your active inventory list via the SP-API, on behalf of the authorized seller. It does not aggregate, store, or resell data across multiple sellers. It does not access customer PII, order details, or financial data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Which marketplaces are supported?

The app supports the North American Amazon marketplaces — United States, Canada, and Mexico — via the seller’s authorized SP-API access for each region. If you need a specific marketplace prioritized for additional features, please let us know via the form below.

How much does it cost?

Price Monitor is free for all Amazon book sellers. There is no paid tier, no per-ASIN fee, and no credit card required. We built the platform for our own use first and have opted to offer it to the broader book seller community at no cost.

How do I uninstall or revoke access?

You can revoke the app’s SP-API access at any time from Seller Central under Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps → Authorized Applications. Revoking access immediately stops all monitoring and deletes your associated data within 30 days. You can also email us to request earlier deletion.

Can I report a bug or request a feature?
